How It Works
Trenchmaw is a controller disguised as a tank. Break Ground blinds, Block and Destroy denies space, and Deploy Defenses turns the damage she takes into the damage she deals.
Burrow Dive gives her something most tanks lack — a way to arrive. Surfacing behind a soldier wave is usually enough to end the fight before it starts.
Strategy
Hold ground, do not chase. Every metre you walk forward is ground your wall could have been defending.
Chain Deploy Defenses with a dive into the enemy backline: the stored damage detonates at exactly the moment they commit.
Tips
- Blind their carry, not their tank.
- Wall off the retreat, not the advance.
- Burst out of the ground next to your own soldiers so they tank the response.

What makes Trenchmaw different from other tanks?
Blind. Break Ground removes the enemy's ability to aim, which is stronger than raw damage reduction.
How do you play around a Trenchmaw?
Do not fight into the wall. Rotate to a different objective and force the wall to be wasted.
